In the throes of tattooing me, my friend Sean told me about the artist Alex Grey, who creates anatomical work featuring not only the human body’s physical systems (e.g., lymphatic, circulatory), but its “spiritual systems” as well, a concept that intrigued me as I became more interested in yoga and reiki. Perhaps a road trip to his Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM) is in order.
