And now for something a little different!
When I was lonely-livin’ on my own in my first apartment, I had no Internet or cable, so I was cycling through Netflix’s three-DVDs-out-at-a-time, rewatching my own movie and TV show collection, and distracting myself from my woes with creativity. One of those creative distractions happened to be cut ‘n’ paste poems—think magnetic poetry without the magnets. I collected a bunch of poems I’d written, played with the font sizes, printed them out, and then hacked them to pieces to create something new. Behold, the results, with varying degrees of seriousness:
